Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute
Treffert works closely with the Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute in the field of PROCESS OPTIMISATION. The Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute supports you in the selection, development as well as in the optimisation and implementation of products, tools and process sequences in the entire field of plastics engineering. The institute works in the associated fields of innovation, quite extensively in the business areas of service and research and development. The Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute combines the scientific know-how of tomorrow with today’s production. Increasing quality and economic efficiency– especially for injection moulded components made of thermal and duro-plastic– are the centre.

Working Group for Laser and Plastics Applications
Treffert is an active member of the Working Group for Laser and Plastics Applications. It consists currently of 10 companies from a wide diversity of areas in plastics production and processing. It includes raw materials suppliers and plastics manufacturers, pigment and additive manufacturers, compound and master batch manufacturers, material developers and consultants, injection moulders, laser manufacturers, laser component suppliers and plant manufacturers.
Cluster lumière
The Cluster Lumière numbers more than 170 companies and organisations: Laboratories, manufacturers, engineers, lighting installers and designers… The real plus of the association is the combination of various and complementary skills and expertise, with the Lyon touch in terms of lighting.
Treffert is part of the plastics network Poly4Nature
The focus is on the use of new and alternative raw material sources for the production of natural polymers and their processing. The aim is to use natural raw materials that not only entail a significant reduction in the CO2 footprint compared to comparable petrochemical counterparts and/or alternative material flows, but ideally even serve as a carbon sink.

KiM – Association of Plastics Processors in Medical Technology e.V.
Treffert is a member of the Association of Plastics Processors in Medical Technology (KiM), whose aim is to strengthen the interests of processors vis-à-vis the raw materials industry by discussing and developing clear manufacturing processes for polymers and ensuring the long-term availability of raw materials for medical grades with unchanged formulations. Other topics include standardised test procedures for polymers, the definition and grading of medical grades and the early development of material alternatives in the sampling phase. In addition, internal technical co-operation and the exchange of information on polymers and raw materials are promoted.

SPORT
ASP Basket Sainte-Marie-Aux-Chênes
In 1925, a young teacher from the north brought a sport to Ste-Marie-aux-Chênes that was played by American soldiers during the 1914-1918 war. He showed the youngsters in St. Marie what basketball was all about. This led to the development of a team that now takes part in competitions in the Moselle département.
